Set of 3 Arpege Perfumed Hand Soap Bars
“Promise her anything, but give her Arpege.” That advertising tag line for Lanvin was everywhere in the 60s. Who knew at the time that Arpege soap would be a collectors item? Janet realized it and a Johnny-Sells customer was happy she did. We picked up the Arpege at an estate sale of a lady who had been the manager of cosmetics for a large department store.
He estate contained not only the fancy soap, but also perfume, parfum (sorry, I don’t know the difference) and all kinds of neat fragrances and the like from the past. Click here to see our collection of vintage cosmetics, as well as scarves, scents and accessories for women.
